What is your Korean name and why is your last name Victory?
My Korean name is Yim, Jong-Bum. I changed my last name to Victory in 2003. My new last name is the manifestation of my desire to achieve the American Dream. Everyday, I am getting one step closer to realizing my Dream. I was a dishwasher in a small Mexican restaurant 20 years ago. Today, I interpret for Secretaries and Senators at the State Department and the U.S. Congress. In addition, the name is easy to pronounce and to remember. (Please, no hate mails from Korean readers.)
