의결. 의결이 사전적인 해석이다. 한국 언론에서 한동안 "의결안"으로 사용한 때가 있었다. 지금도 의결안으로 쓰여 있는 기사가 때때로 눈에 뜨인다. 유엔에 상정되는 의결은 우선 의결안 형태로 상정된다. 의결안은 resolution draft 또는 proposed resolution이다. 의결안이 통과되면 의결이 된다.
반기문씨가 유엔사무총장이 되기 얼마전, 대한민국 외무 장관으로 계시면서 "의결" 과 "의결안"을 확실히 분별해 쓰느 걸 보고, 역시 외무 장관은 다르구나 생각했다. 그 때 당시 신문에서는 의결과 의결안을 확실히 구별하지 않고 있던 때이다.
